Stealing Chocolates in Balby….

A shoplifter with who had a thing  for Quality Street chocolates has been jailed after stealing handfuls of the confectionery from a Doncaster shop.

Owen Stothard  raided the shelves of a One Stop store in Balby on 3 separate occasions in September this year.

Stothard, of Firbeck House, Doncaster, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft after taking off with sweets and chocolates worth £51.

He was jailed for 18 weeks at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on 17 October.
