Officers from Worksop South NPT arrested prolific shop lifter Kerry HALL…

On Sunday 10th December 2023, Officers from Worksop South NPT arrested prolific shop lifter Kerry HALL for two shop theft offences in the Worksop area. Less than a week prior to the arrest, HALL received an 8 week suspended sentence for multiple shop thefts. HALL blatantly disregarded the good will of the court and continued to offend, committing a shop theft two days later.

HALL plead guilty to the shop theft matters and had the 8 week prison sentence activated with an additional 12 weeks for her most recent visits to two local stores.

PC 518 LONG of Nottinghamshire Police said:

‘HALL is a prolific offender who targeted the local stores of Worksop at an alarming rate. Despite the lenience of the court giving her an 8 week suspended sentence in the hope to prevent further offending, she disregarded this opportunity and targeted two stores in the days after. I hope that this period of imprisonment allows HALL to receive the appropriate support to prevent re-offending’.
