.Detectives investigating a burglary during which several high value watches were stolen have arrested a suspect. It is believed an intruder used a ladder to climb through an upstairs window during the break-in near Old London Road, Babworth, on the morning of Thursday 21 September. An extensive operation cracking down on cross-border criminals chalked up another success after police units stopped a stolen cloned van and arrested the driver for multiple offences. After the vehicle was spotted Nottinghamshire officers followed it up the A1 northbound to Five Lane Ends where a stinger was deployed, and the Citroen van came to a stop.
