Today Monday 24/06/2024 Worksop North Neighbourhood Policing team seized two off road motor bikes from a property in the Gateford Road area of Worksop. Following community intelligence, we identified these motorcycles as being ridden in an anti-social manner, posing a danger to themselves and other road users. A 16-year-old boy has died after being injured by a falling tree. Our officers were called to Rotherham Baulk, Carlton-in-Lindrick, at 11.21am on Saturday (15 June 2024) following reports the boy had been seriously hurt. A shop thief has been arrested by officers after he was suspected of stealing over £30 worth of steak from Sainsbury's in the Prospect Precinct whilst also in possession of a knife. The suspect, a man aged 36 dropped the knife when making his escape and was also found to have a a quantity of cannabis in his living room on arrest.
